    Janelle Teng is a vice president in the San Francisco office where she focuses primarily on growth investments in cloud software, infrastructure, and developer platforms. She specializes in product strategy and product-led growth go-to-market execution for companies scaling past the Series B stage. Currently, Janelle serves as a board observer for Claroty, Coactive, Databook, Imply, Netlify, Smule, and Virtru. She also works closely with product-led companies such as Canva and Statespace.

    Janelle develops many of Bessemer’s PLG frameworks, roadmaps, and benchmarks. Additionally, Janelle is a co-author of Bessemer’s annual State of the Cloud Report and Bessemer Growth’s Scaling to $100MM Series. She is also a primary contributor to the firm’s initiatives around The Cloud 100 and the BVP Nasdaq Emerging Cloud Index.

    Before joining Bessemer, Janelle was a product manager at SalesforceIQ (formerly RelateIQ) where she led mobile development for Salesforce Inbox and was part of the team that created Einstein Email Insights. She began her career as a business analyst at McKinsey and Company.

    Janelle earned an MBA at Harvard Business School. Outside of work, you can find Janelle trying to beat her personal record on her indoor cycling bike or jumping off cliffs on her snowboard.
     


    Caty Rea is an investor based in Bessemer's San Francisco office and focuses on enterprise software across vertical SaaS, fintech, and healthcare.

    Prior to joining Bessemer, Caty began her career at McKinsey & Company where she focused on advising tech companies as well as leading digital transformations for finance and insurance companies. She has worked on the investment teams at Rough Draft Ventures and BBG Ventures. Most recently, she was an investor focused on Series A through pre-IPO investments with Highland Capital Partners.

    Caty earned her MBA from Harvard Business School. In her spare time, she enjoys kayaking, running, reading, and golf.
     


    Kate Walker is an investor based in Bessemer’s San Francisco office and focuses on early-stage consumer internet and software businesses.

    Prior to joining Bessemer, Kate began her career at Goldman Sachs advising and investing in technology companies within the Investment Banking and Investment Management divisions. After Goldman, Kate was a venture investor at Geodesic Capital where she was involved with the Series B through pre-IPO investments in Forethought, Vercel, HashiCorp, and Snyk.

    Kate earned her MBA with honors from Harvard Business School. She is an active member and volunteer for All Raise. Outside of work, you can find her at Aquatic Park or Hawk Hill training for her next triathlon.
