Scott Duke Kominers is the MBA Class of 1960 Associate Professor of Business Administration in the Entrepreneurial Management Unit, as well as a Faculty Affiliate of the Harvard Department of Economics and the Harvard Center of Mathematical Sciences and Applications and a Research Economist at the National Bureau of Economic Research. He teaches the MBA elective course “Making Markets” (M2) and a doctoral course on market design. He also serves as an Associate Editor for Management Science, Journal of Economic Theory, and Journal of Mechanism and Institution Design, and writes for Bloomberg Opinion. Allison Ciechanover oversees the HBS team that develops teaching cases and supports faculty research on West Coast companies, and has written over two dozen cases on tech companies. She also serves as the School’s liaison with the West Coast entrepreneurial community, assisting with MBA admissions, alumni relations, and MBA job search activities. She received her B.A. (magna cum laude) from the University of Pennsylvania, her MBA from Harvard Business School, and a Masters of International Affairs from the Johns Hopkins University School for Advanced International Studies.
