    Join us for an in-person information session about the Harvard Business School MBA Program. This event is designed for prospective applicants to learn more about the MBA Program and life at HBS. The event will include a fireside chat with Professor Paul A. Gompers and Bartek Trzebinski, MBA 2005, as well as an admissions presentation and the opportunity to meet local alumni. Check-in for the event will begin at 6:30 PM. We hope to see you there!

    Speaker Bios:


    Paul A. Gompers, Professor of Business Administration at the Harvard Business School, specializes in research on financial issues related to start-up, high growth, and newly public companies. Professor Gompers has an appointment in both the Finance and Entrepreneurial Management areas. He received his A.B. summa cum laude in biology from Harvard College in 1987. After spending a year working as a research biochemist for Bayer Chemical AG, he attended Oxford University on a Marshall Fellowship where he received an M.Sc. in economics. He completed his Ph.D. in Business Economics at Harvard University in 1993.


    Bartek Trzebinski is an Advisory Board Member of private markets investment platform Titanbay, as well as for ReSpo.Vision, a company using AI & computer Vision-based optical tracking system to revolutionize football. Trzebinski is also an independent investor in Airly, and CFO and Sports Director of Harvard Club of Poland. He is also a member of several VC/PE investment committees, and a competitive runner and triathlete. Formerly Head of EQT Partners Warsaw office and Goldman Sachs investment banking associate. Trzebinski holds an MBA degree from Harvard Business School (MBA 2005), a master’s degree in International Management from SDA Bocconi, and a master’s degree in banking and finance from SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
     


    Dana Fernandez is a  Senior Associate Director and member of the Admissions Board at Harvard Business School. Dana has worked in graduate admissions for the past 18 years, joining Harvard Business School in 2011. Prior to HBS she was the Director of Enrollment at Boston University School of Education and an Associate Director at New York University Stern School of Business. Dana has a BA in History from The George Washington University and an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business. 


    Jan Pianca (MSc, International Management, Bocconi University) is the Educational Programs Assistant Director Europe at the HBS Europe Research Center in Paris. He focuses on European employer outreach to develop and manage the School’s relationships with European companies. Jan also works closely with MBA Admissions. Before joining HBS, Jan worked as a Marketing and Communication Manager for Austrian Airlines in Milan. As a career coach to alumni and students, Jan welcomes the opportunity to assist individuals with their job search, particularly European alumni/students or alumni/students interested in opportunities across Europe.
