Darrin Rahn is a high-impact leader in consumer goods, retail, and brand management with 12+ years experience across Target, General Mills, and PepsiCo. Raised on a Midwest family farm, he studied agricultural economics as a 1st-generation college student at Iowa State University and onto an eventual Harvard Business School MBA. Since HBS, Darrin has been at PepsiCo over the last five years in diverse marketing and strategy roles – and is currently a Strategy Director within Global Sustainability. He and his partner live in New York City, and both are avid travelers, passionate foodies, and proud LGBTQ advocates.
Keta Burke-Williams is the Founder & CEO of Ourside. Inspired by a memory of her mother and her love of blending scent and story, Keta is introducing a new conversation into fragrance through Ourside. Ourside is disrupting the $57B fragrance category through their unique offerings at the intersection of luxury, inclusivity and clean beauty. Prior to founding the brand while a student at Harvard Business School, Keta honed her skills at KraftHeinz and Carnival Cruise Lines, where she led and transformed multimillion dollar business units.
California born and bred — with a short stint in Boston, MA where she learned what a real winter is — Phoebe Peronto is an alumna of Google, GV, Salesforce, and public service. Phoebe has spent most of her career in venture capital investing and strategy/operational roles at startups. Before returning to Google to drive strategy for the Google Research organization, she served in the Newsom administration, working on tech policy, innovation strategy, and emerging technology investment areas for the State of California. Phoebe holds a dual degree from UC Berkeley in Political Science and Business Administration, and graduated as a George F. Baker Scholar from Harvard Business School. Phoebe and her husband Jeff live in Marin with their son Ash (and fur baby Winnie). When Phoebe isn’t talking about coffee, she’s training for sprint triathlons.
Wilson Kyi invests in founders building in AI and automation at Basis Set. Previously, he was an operator at global companies pre-IPO, Square and DiDi, and Cloudkitchens. He began venture investing at Fifth Wall Ventures and as an angel investor. He’s a supporter of the AAPI community as cofounder of Fish Sauce and the LA tech ecosystem as an advisor for HBS SoCal Startup Partners and Innovator in Residence at USC Engineering Viterbi Startup Garage. He holds an MBA from Harvard and BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California.
