    Please join Maura Sullivan, MBA/MPA 2009, as she moderates a panel of HBS women from the Military who are current students and alumni from different branches of service and from various roles within these branches. Learn about their experiences and how HBS has played a role in their journeys.
                                                      

    Maura Sullivan is a Vice-President, Operations at Ginkgo Bioworks-- working across the country to get kids back in school safely by bringing COVID testing to every classroom. She is a former Marine Corps Officer and Iraq War Veteran whose military service includes tours in Fallujah, Iraq and southeast Asia. Maura held several appointed positions in the Obama Administration, including former Assistant Secretary, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and Senior Pentagon Official, where she was awarded the Distinguished Civilian Service Award. Prior to her service in the Obama Administration, Maura was an executive at PepsiCo where she held a number of general management roles.

    Maura holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School, where she served as a teaching assistant to Professor David Gergen. She holds a BA from Northwestern University, which she completed on a ROTC scholarship.
