Scott Duke Kominers is a Professor of Business Administration in the Entrepreneurial Management Unit, as well as a Faculty Affiliate of the Harvard Department of Economics and the Harvard Center of Mathematical Sciences and Applications, a Research Economist at the National Bureau of Economic Research, and an a16z crypto Research Partner. He teaches the MBA elective course “Making Markets” (M2) and a doctoral course on market design. He also is an Associate Editor for Management Science, Journal of Economic Theory, ACM Transactions on Economics and Computation, and Journal of Mechanism and Institution Design; serves on the Board of Editors of the Journal of Economic Literature; and writes for Bloomberg Opinion. 
 

In her decade running HBS’s Silicon Valley research outpost, Allison Ciechanover has partnered with faculty and business executives to produce over 150 case studies used in the MBA and Executive Education curriculum. These cases cover a range of industries and themes including artificial intelligence, gaming platforms, streaming services, autonomous vehicles, virtual and augmented reality, the space industry, non-profit leadership, and corporate culture and governance. In addition to her research work, Allie serves as the School’s liaison with the West Coast entrepreneurial community, assisting with MBA admissions, alumni relations, and MBA job search activities. She received her B.A. (magna cum laude) from the University of Pennsylvania, her MBA from Harvard Business School, and a Masters of International Affairs from the Johns Hopkins University School for Advanced International Studies.
