Julie Park is the Assistant Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology at Harvard University, working with the MS/MBA students in Biotechnology: Life Sciences degree program. She provides guidance on science course selection, and teaches and supports the required science curriculum in the program.
Panelists:
Dominic (MS/MBA 2022) is a Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, where he advises BioPharma & MedTech clients across a range of commercial topics. Prior to this, he founded and led Maisha Sciences, a company using financial and supply chain innovation to improve access to Medical Devices in Africa. He also worked at Collective Health, where he led the firm's Pharmacy product offering for self-funded employers. Dominic graduated from the inaugural cohort of the MS/MBA Life Sciences program at HBS, and also holds a BA in Neurobiology from Harvard College.
Frances Wu is a Senior Business Fellow at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing RNAi-based therapeutics for rare and prevalent disease. At Alnylam, she is part of the Leadership Rotation Development Program, where she will be spending her first 8 months working in Finance. During her time at HBS, she was the Co-Director of Strategy and Operations at Nucleate, a student-run nonprofit organization that empowers the next generation of biotechnology leaders. Previously, she was an Engagement Manager at Health Advances, a life sciences and healthcare strategy consulting firm. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Molecular Cell Biology.
Calvin (MS/MBA 2024) is a Harvard trained bioengineer with experience in Biotech R&D, supporting the discovery and early development of various innovative treatments. Prior to coming to the MS/MBA Biotechnology Life Sciences Program, Calvin was a biomaterials researcher at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering and also focused on research at Alkermes and Moderna.
Alex Ritchie (MS/MB 2023) is a Scientist at Science for America, a 'solutions incubator' where she is focused on building a clinical trials platform to rapidly test cancer therapeutics. Prior to HBS, Alex spent two years at Flatiron Health helping grow the market for oncology real-world data products leveraging electronic health records. She started her career at Genentech/Roche, where she worked in analytics roles across Global Clinical Operations and Pipeline & Portfolio Planning. She is passionate about opportunities for combining biotechnology and digital tools to improve equitable access to precision medicine, while fueling biopharma R&D efficiency. Alex graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in Human Biology.
